The #81 Camaro is also the only car currently running at the Jug which was fabricated from street condition entirely by the team.  First run in 1995, 2006 will be its twelfth season.  This 1977 Camaro holds the Jug Racing record for most races entered.

It runs a stock front clip but with jacking plates, AFCO springs and adjustable shocks.  It sports a full rectangular tube frame and NASCAR style roll cage.  The original leaf spring rear suspension remains, but with AFCO leaves moved inboard for tire clearance, lowered and wedged, and racing shocks stagger mounted.  The power steering box is stock, but with a 2:1 quickener installed resulting in a 1 turn lock to lock ratio.  The rear gears are 4:56's and a mini-spool lock is used.  The original rear drum brakes are retained but fed through a driver controlled bias valve.
