| Prior to 2008 the last time the Empty Jug track was significantly modified
was in
the late 90's when the infield retention pond was created and the material
from it was used to put banking in turns 1 and three. In April of 2008 the next step in
its evolution was taken. With generous
donations of equipment from Bill Case Excavating and G & G Stone, and the
talents of Dennis Eckhart, bulldozer operator extraordinaire,
banking was added to turn two,
the entries to one and four were widened and reshaped, and the entire track
was graded for even better water run off control.
